Every direct restoration — Class I through V — ends with an oxygen-inhibited surface layer. That tacky 10–100 µm zone weakens surface hardness and cuts long-term wear resistance. DE-OX eliminates it before you ever touch a polishing disc.
The facial surface of a composite veneer is the most oxygen-exposed layer in the entire restoration. An uncured OIL on a veneer stains faster, polishes unevenly, and loses gloss within months. DE-OX delivers a hard, stain-resistant surface from day one.
When cementing ceramic veneers, inlays, or onlays, exposed resin cement margins are oxygen-inhibited. These uncured micro-porous margins stain, dissolve, and attract plaque over time. DE-OX seals every margin completely — no weak spots.
